Smartfriendz products do not carry a long-term warranty. Returns are possible only on unused items, within 14 days of receipt. We will provide parts or service on items that prove to be defective from the time of manufacture, and we'll always work with you to get your smart friend running again.

Purchasing Smartfriendz Products

Eligibility to order criteria: You may only purchase products:

  • For personal use, either by yourself or by your intended recipient(s) of the products. Smartfriendz reserves the right to decline any order that it has reasonable cause to believe is for onward sale other than through distribution channels approved by Smartfiendz.

Smartfriendz takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on Smartfriendz.com online store are correct at the time when the relevant information is placed onto Smartfriendz.com. Although every effort is made to keep Smartfriendz.com as up to date as possible, the information appearing at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.

Ordering Products:

  • Once you have selected the products you wish to order, click on the “proceed to checkout” button in you shopping cart.
  • You will be asked to give you billing and delivery adres and information. On the bottom of this page you can verify you order.
  • Once you have clicked on the “Place order” button and accepted the term & conditions, You wil be directed to your Pay pal account for paying your order. Your offer at this stage is still subject to our acceptance. In order that we may accept your offer, we obtain an authorisation from your Credit card company for the amount detailed on the order summary page. We are not taking funds from your card at this stage, although the amount available for you to spend will be reduced by the authorisation. This is a normal process with the banks. If your credit card should not give an authorisation, your order will not be processed further.
  • Smartfriendz.com will E-mail you to confirm your product order has been received.
  • Smartfriendz.com will E-mail you again to confirm that the products you have ordered are being shipped to you.
  • We are deemed to have accepted your offer, and a corresponding contract of sale for the products you have ordered is concluded between you and Smartfriendz.com only upon those products being shipped to you, as detailed in the dispatch confirmation E-mail.

Smartfriendz may refuse or be unable to process your order if:

  • The product you ordered is discontinued or no longer available.

  • Cancelling the Contract and Returns

Returns

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have shipped out. Products cannot be returned for any reason including lack of product knowledge, a customer no longer needing or wanting a product unless the item is defective or faulty, in which case the following applies. All products are checked before they are sent out. In the event that goods are faulty, they must be returned to our manufacturing facility within 14 days of receipt of products. Products must not been altered beyond the level necessary to evaluate them. Products found to contain manufacturing defects will be replaced with the same item or repaired. We will not accept goods that have been clearly used more than the amount needed to evaluate their functionality. If the goods are found to be in working condition and the lack of functionality is a result of knowledge or assembly error on the customer’s part, no refund will be made, but the goods will be returned to the user at their expense. Any order discrepancies must be communicated within 14 days of order receipt. This applies to any missing parts in kits, orders in packages, etc. After the 14 day window, we cannot be held responsible for any missing items. If you are returning the goods by post please note:

  • It may take up to 7 days for your parcel to reach us
  • Returned items will be processed within two (2) working days of receipt
  • Reasonable care must be taken when packaging the parcel and returning it so that goods are not damaged in transit
  • You are advised to use a carrier that offers both traceability and insurance

International shipment

We ship internationally, to just about any location. If your location is not in the shipment list please let us know. There are a few things to be aware of, however: you, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and can't give you an estimate of the cost, because it varies widely around the world. We almost work 24/7 but unfortunately most delivery services don't. There can be no shipments on the following days:
